Maverick Stampede is filled with fun and exciting events and activities to kick off a new semester at UTA

CONVOCATION

The official kickoff to the academic year is always a celebration like no other! Tune in LIVE to hear from campus leaders, see entertainment, and win prizes.

CORNHOLE

In cornhole, players pitch bean bags toward a wooden ramp with a small hole cut out, acting as a target. Points are awarded for sinking the bean bag or being closest to the mark.

FOAM PARTY

Come join EXCEL Campus Activities at UTA's annual welcome back party! Come dance and get drenched with foam under the lights! Featuring a live DJ, and giveaways!

OOZEBALL

Teams of 6 players will battle it out in the muddy volleyball courts on the corner of Summit Ave. and Greek Row to determine the Oozeball champion. Whether you are "in-it-to-win-it" or just looking for a muddy good time, this is a tradition that you cannot pass up.

RECSTRAVAGANZA

Come experience all that Campus Recreation has to offer! There will be group exercise class demos, sport club info tables, outdoor games, tie-dying stations, and more!

WAFFLEOPOLIS

Join one of UT Arlington's most popular Maverick Stampede traditions. Waffleopolis looks a little different this year, but tastes just as yummy! Grab your favorite waffle, pile it high with items of your choice including: ice cream, cherries, chocolate sauce, and more.
